If you love bierocks but hate the time it takes to make them, this is for you! We have had this before but this recipe was better than the last.
2 lbs hamburger
1 onion, diced
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 pkg coleslaw mix (cabbage)
1 can cream of celery soup
(You can use cream of mushroom instead but we don’t like mushrooms)
2 cans crescent rolls
1 cup shredded cheese
Brown hamburger, garlic, salt, pepper, and onion over medium heat. While hamburger is browning spray 9×13 pan with non-stick spray and lay out one can of crescent rolls, making sure to push the dough 1/2 inch up the side of the pan. Bake in oven for approx. 7-8 minutes to slightly bake rolls.
When hamburger is browned mix in soup and cabbage until slightly cooked. Put hamburger mixture on top of pre-cooked rolls. Top with shredded cheese and then unroll second can of crescents on top.
Bake in oven at 350 for approx. 25 minutes. Check for dough to be cooked all the way through. Serve with mustard if desired. Makes 8 LARGE servings.
